Newsroom and editorial process

Articles on Noticias Salud3 are credited to the Noticias Salud3 newsroom, the site's editorial team. It is a collective byline: we do not publish under individual author names and we do not attribute articles to doctors or specialists, because there are no health professionals on our team.

How we choose topics

We start from stories that people have been sharing and searching for in recent days (health, curiosities, relationships, animals, mysteries and home life) and explain what is true in them. Before writing, each topic is checked against at least two or three reliable sources; if there are no solid sources, it is not published.

Which sources we use

  • Health: official bodies (WHO, CDC, NHS, MedlinePlus), Mayo Clinic or peer-reviewed studies.
  • Other topics: established news outlets, scientific and academic institutions and original documents.
  • Since October 2026, every new article links its sources at the end, in the "Sources" section.

How an article is reviewed

  • Some texts are prepared with the help of artificial intelligence tools for drafting and translation. Before publication they are reviewed and checked against the sources cited.
  • Health articles are for information only: they include a medical disclaimer and recommend seeing a professional. We do not offer diagnoses or treatments.
  • Every article shows its publication date and its last-updated date.

Images

We use freely licensed photos (for example from Wikimedia Commons or Pexels) with credit, or illustrative AI-generated images. The latter are labelled "Illustrative image" and do not show real, identifiable people.

Corrections

If you find an incorrect or outdated fact, write to us from the contact page. We review it and, where needed, correct the article and update its date.
